IMPORTANT NOTICE
The Druk Community Centre of Australia (DCCA) is pleased to officially announce its establishment as a registered not-for-profit and charitable organisation in Australia. The organisation has been formed to promote community welfare, cultural preservation, social harmony, and charitable initiatives for the Bhutanese community and the broader multicultural society in Australia.
Following the completion of the required regulatory processes, DCCA has successfully obtained its official registrations and approvals from the relevant Australian authorities.
Official Registrations and Approvals
The organisation has received the following approvals:
• Certificate of Incorporation by the Department of Consumer Protection: 25 November, 2025
• Australian Business Number (ABN) Approval: 24th November 2025
• Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) Charity Registration Approval: 4th December 2025
• Australian Taxation Office (ATO) – Tax Concession Charity Approval: 15th December 2025
These registrations confirm that DCCA operates as a legally recognised charitable organisation in Australia, committed to maintaining transparency, accountability, and compliance with all applicable Australian laws and regulations.
Current Office Bearers and Committee Members
The establishment of DCCA has been supported by a group of dedicated office bearers who have worked collectively to complete the organisation’s formation and registration process. The current office bearers and committee members are:

• Mrs Dendup Dema, Director
• Mr Thrinlay Tobden, Public Relations Officer
• Mr Chaney Rangdel, Event Coordinator
• Ms Pema Woeshel Tshomo, Event Coordinator
The office bearers and committee members have been actively involved in administrative coordination, regulatory compliance, and organisational development to ensure the successful registration of DCCA.
Membership Now Open
DCCA is pleased to announce that membership is now officially open to the public.
Individuals who share the vision of supporting community development, cultural engagement, and charitable initiatives are warmly invited to join the organisation as members.
The membership application forms are now available on the official DCCA website. Interested individuals may download and submit their completed membership forms in accordance with the instructions provided. After the committee’s decision on the membership application, the AGM will be proposed only by way of a written notice to all the members.
First Annual General Meeting (AGM) with Office Bearers was done on 27 November 2025
Second Special General Meeting (SGM) with office Bearers was done on 1st December 2025
Third Special General Meeting with office Bearers was done on 9th February 2025
